Hi, I’m Joe Magallanes, a Learning and Development Specialist with a strong background in instructional design, educational technology, and user-centered training solutions. I bring a results-driven approach to creating impactful learning experiences, whether through microlearning, e-learning development, or AI-based video production.
I earned both my Bachelor’s in Sociology and Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University, Fullerton, and have since applied my skills across K–12, higher education, and corporate learning environments. Currently, I serve as a Learning & Development Specialist at the University of Southern California, where I design and manage training programs, digital content, and web-based resources for faculty and staff.
Beyond my professional roles, I’m also an elected board member of the West Covina Unified School District, where I contribute to shaping educational policies that support student success.
Whether I’m designing a new curriculum or creating interactive media with tools like Synthesia, Captivate, or Qualtrics, my goal remains the same: to make learning accessible, engaging, and effective for all.
